Through the years I have gained a love of education, community, and family. I graduated from Burke High School and continued on to the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. There I majored in Political Science & worked for the Nebraska Legislature.
Upon graduation, I enrolled in AmeriCorps, serving as a volunteer for 3 years. AmeriCorps aids the United States in areas such as unmet human needs, the environment and education. Also, as a former educator for District 66, I understand the importance of education and strength of community.
I currently reside in West Omaha and blessed to have 3 beautiful children and a wonderful/supportive husband. I have been through many changes myself, to get to this point in life. Life is everchanging and we are always on a road with many hills & valleys to overcome. I want to be that person to help you "Move Forward" with these changes and open a future of new opportunities.
